Hajj Prayer Initiative - Praying that God might meet those seeking Him
Time to mark your PRAYER CALENDARS for Hajj Prayer Initiative, which is a call to Christians "to pray for Muslims" as they go on the Hajj (Sept 21-23, 2015). This is put out by Praying through the Arabian Peninsula and can be used by others freely. There is a Hajj Video and also a three day prayer guide in English & Korean.
It is interesting that on Sept. 23rd it is the day when Muslims are on Mount Arafat, seeking forgiveness of sins, and also it is Yom Kippur, the day Jews are seeking forgiveness of sins. This is happening because their calendars are aligning to make this happen.

Just because we might not understand or agree with a certain religious group some might say we should not pray?

Hajj Prayer Initiative 2015 is a call for Christians to pray September 21-23, 2015 during the Hajj pilgramage time!
The Hajj, one of the five pillars of the Islamic religion, begins on the 8th day of the 12th month of Dhul Hijjah of the Islamic calendar. Because the calendar is based on the moon’s cycle, the Hajj begins nine days earlier each consecutive year. In 2015, the Hajj will start on September the 21st and last for 3-4 days. During this time, Muslims from all over the world will flock to Mecca to perform the rituals and follow the steps of Muhammad, their prophet.
THIS YEAR, it is interesting that the date aligns with the Jewish date of Yom Kippur. The day when Muslims are on Mount Arafat, seeking forgiveness of sins; is Yom Kippur, the day Jews are seeking forgiveness of sins. This is happening because their calendars are aligning to make this happen.
